Personnel Statistics and Expenditure incurred in Scheduled National Airlines during 2016-17

Fleets named Air India, Air India Express and Alliance Air are there under Scheduled National Airlines during 2016-17. During 2016-17, there was a total of 13672 personnel and 13518 personnel at the mid of the year and at the end of the year respectively in Scheduled National Airlines. Total Expenditure of Rs. 28414.87 million was incurred during 2016-17 in Scheduled National Airlines. Various categories of staff were there during 2016-17; Pilots and Co-Pilots, Other Cockpit Personnel, Cabin Attendants, Maintenance and Overhaul Personnel, Ticketing and Sales Personnel and All Other Personnel.

Out of the total expenditure of Rs. 28414.87 million in Scheduled National Airlines during 2016-17; Pilots and Co-Pilots had the highest weightage of 45.98% (Rs. 13066.52 million) followed by All Other Personnel, Cabin Attendants, Ticketing and Sales Personnel, Maintenance and Overhaul Personnel, and Other Cockpit Personnel.

Expenditure incurred for All Other Personnel was Rs. 6193.8 million (21.8% weightage), Cabin Attendants was Rs. 5230 million (18.41% weightage), Ticketing and Sales Personnel was Rs. 3592.8 million (12.64% weightage), Maintenance and Overhaul Personnel was Rs. 331.74 million (1.17% weightage) and Other Cockpit Personnel was Rs. 0 million in Scheduled National Airlines during 2016-17.
