Magnesite Production in India from 2000-01 to 2015-16

No comprehensible trend was seen in production of Magnesite in India from 2000-01 to 2015-16. Magnesite Production was 317763 tonne during 2000-01 in India. It has decreased by -9.37% to 287985 tonne during 2001-02. In value term, it was Rs. 380172 thousand and Rs. 350526 thousand during 2000-01 and 2001-02 respectively.

We have seen an annual growth of 5.8% in Magnesite production from 238981 tonne during 2006-07 to 252849 tonne during 2007-08. In value term, it was Rs. 341740 thousand and Rs. 334310 thousand during 2006-07 and 2007-08 respectively. An annual growth of 0.01% was observed in production of Magnesite during 2008-09 to 252880 tonne. Its value was Rs. 363514 thousand during 2008-09.

An Annual growth of 44.72% was observed in production of Magnesite from 196940 tonne during 2013-14 to 285009 tonne during 2014-15. In value term, it was Rs. 445622 thousand and Rs. 748792 thousand during 2013-14 and 2014-15 respectively. We have seen an annual de-growth of -7.01% in Magnesite production to 265022 tonne during 2015-16 over 2014-15. Its value was Rs. 700931 thousand during 2015-16.

Maximum Magnesite production of 383953 tonne was recorded in 2004-05 during the period under consideration. Minimum Magnesite production of 196940 tonne was recorded in 2013-14 during the period under consideration.
