Top 10 States/UTs in terms of Crime rate of Cheating Offences against Property during 2016

Crime rate of Cheating (Sec 420 IPC) Offences against Property was 8.6 in India during 2016. There were 109611 incidents and 114377 victims of Cheating (Sec 420 IPC) Offences against Property reported during 2016 in India. The top 10 States/UTs in terms of having highest Crime rate of Cheating (Sec 420 IPC) Offences against Property in India during 2016 were; Rajasthan, Delhi, Telangana, A & N Islands, Punjab, Kerala, Assam, Haryana, Karnataka and Chandigarh.

Crime rate of Cheating (Sec 420 IPC) Offences against Property was 25.4 in Rajasthan during 2016. In Rajasthan there were 18602 incidents and 18773 victims of Cheating (Sec 420 IPC) Offences against Property reported during 2016. Crime rate of Cheating (Sec 420 IPC) Offences against Property was 25.1 in Delhi during 2016. In Delhi there were 5396 incidents and 6726 victims of Cheating (Sec 420 IPC) Offences against Property reported during 2016. Crime rate of Cheating (Sec 420 IPC) Offences against Property was 22.8 in Telangana during 2016. In Telangana there were 8394 incidents and 8785 victims of Cheating (Sec 420 IPC) Offences against Property reported during 2016.

Crime rate of Cheating (Sec 420 IPC) Offences against Property was 13.7 in A & N Islands during 2016. In A & N Islands there were 76 incidents and 76 victims of Cheating (Sec 420 IPC) Offences against Property reported during 2016. Crime rate of Cheating (Sec 420 IPC) Offences against Property was 13.5 in Punjab during 2016. In Punjab there were 3947 incidents and 4037 victims of Cheating (Sec 420 IPC) Offences against Property reported during 2016.

In Assam there were 4171 incidents and 4171 victims with Crime rate of 12.8 for Cheating (Sec 420 IPC) Offences against Property reported during 2016. In Haryana there were 3155 incidents and 3158 victims with Crime rate of 11.4 for Cheating (Sec 420 IPC) Offences against Property reported during 2016.

In Karnataka there were 7117 incidents and 7156 victims with Crime rate of 11.4 for Cheating (Sec 420 IPC) Offences against Property reported during 2016. In Chandigarh there were 188 incidents and 188 victims with Crime rate of 10.4 for Cheating (Sec 420 IPC) Offences against Property reported during 2016.
