Import of Products of Olefins in Major Petrochemicals from 2009-10 to 2016-17

There were various products of Olefins of major petrochemicals namely Butadiene, Ethylene and Propylene imported to India during 2009-10 to 2016-17.

Growth of 139.33% has observed in import of Butadiene from 15 metric tonne during 2009-10 to 2105 metric tonne during 2016-17. A maximum import of Butadiene was 9187 in 2012-13 during the period from 2009-10 to 2016-17. Growth of 1.34% has observed in import of Ethylene from 34549 metric tonne during 2009-10 to 80917 metric tonne during 2016-17. A maximum import of Ethylene was 114550 in 2010-11 during the period from 2009-10 to 2016-17. Growth of 8.80% has observed in import of Propylene from 44 metric tonne during 2009-10 to 431 metric tonne during 2016-17. A maximum import of Propylene was 3354 in 2015-16 during the period from 2009-10 to 2016-17.
