The top 10 States/UTs in terms of highest Drop-out rate at secondary schools during 2014-15 were Daman & Diu, Odisha, Tripura, Assam, Karnataka, Bihar, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Mizoram.
Drop-out rate at secondary schools in Daman & Diu was 32.27% during 2014-15. It has increased by 12.41% during 2014-15 over 2013-14 from 19.86%.
