Production of Zinc Concetrates in India from 2000-01 to 2015-16

India has witnessed an increasing trend in production of Zinc Concetrates from 2000-01 to 2015-16. We have seen a compound annual growth rate of 9.73% in Zinc Concetrates production from 2000-01 to 2015-16. Production of Zinc Concetrates in India was 366095 tonne during 2000-01. An annual growth of 8.94% has been observed in production of Zinc Concetrates in India to 398837 tonne during 2001-02. In value term, it was Rs. 3054820 and Rs. 3052895 thousand during 2000-01 and 2001-02 respectively.

An annual de-growth of -0.09% has been observed during 2014-15 over 2013-14 from 1490662 tonne in production of Zinc Concetrates in India. Its value was Rs. 27421597 thousand during 2013-14. We have seen an annual decline of -1.04% in production of Zinc Concetrates in India from 1489374 tonne during 2014-15 to 1473812 tonne during 2015-16. In value term, it was Rs. 31572181 and Rs. 34943111 thousand during 2014-15 and 2015-16 respectively.

A maximum production of 1492781 tonne was recorded in production of Zinc Concetrates in India in the year 2012-13 during the period under consideration. A maximum annual growth of 33.4% was observed in production of Zinc Concetrates in India in the year 2005-06 during the period under consideration.
