Category-wise Staff Strength of All Scheduled Indian Airlines from 2007-08 to 2015-16

India has witnessed a compound annual growth rate of 4.58% in total staff strength of All Scheduled Indian Airlines from 2007-08 to 2015-16. We have seen a decline of -5.81% in total staff strength in All Scheduled Indian Airlines to 54092 during 2015-16 over previous year. We have seen a growth of 4.28% in total staff strength in All Scheduled Indian Airlines to 57429 during 2014-15 over previous year. We have seen a growth of 0.83% in total staff strength in All Scheduled Indian Airlines from 54616 during 2012-13 to 55070 during 2013-14.

During 2015-16, there was a total staff strength of 54092 in All Scheduled Indian Airlines. Out of which 6310 (11.67%) were Pilots & Co-Pilots, 12143 (22.45%) were Other Flight Personnel, 5887 (10.88%) were Maintenance & Overhaul Personnel, 7048 (13.03%) were Ticketing & Sales Personnel and 22704 (41.97%) were Others. During 2014-15, there was a total staff strength of 57429 in All Scheduled Indian Airlines. Out of which 5577 (9.71%) were Pilots & Co-Pilots, 11403 (19.86%) were Other Flight Personnel, 10624 (18.5%) were Maintenance & Overhaul Personnel, 5964 (10.38%) were Ticketing & Sales Personnel and 23861 (41.55%) were Others. During 2013-14, there was a total staff strength of 55070 in All Scheduled Indian Airlines. Out of which 5102 (9.26%) were Pilots & Co-Pilots, 10568 (19.19%) were Other Flight Personnel, 11147 (20.24%) were Maintenance & Overhaul Personnel, 6626 (12.03%) were Ticketing & Sales Personnel and 21627 (39.27%) were Others.

We have seen a growth of 28.32% in total staff strength in All Scheduled Indian Airlines from 41865 during 2010-11 to 53721 during 2011-12. We have seen a decline of -2.46% in total staff strength in All Scheduled Indian Airlines to 33924 during 2009-10 over previous year. We have seen a decline of -7.99% in total staff strength in All Scheduled Indian Airlines from 37800 during 2007-08 to 34781 during 2008-09.

During 2011-12, there was a total staff strength of 53721 in All Scheduled Indian Airlines. Out of which 4757 (8.86%) were Pilots & Co-Pilots, 9963 (18.55%) were Other Flight Personnel, 11358 (21.14%) were Maintenance & Overhaul Personnel, 7852 (14.62%) were Ticketing & Sales Personnel and 19791 (36.84%) were Others. During 2010-11, there was a total staff strength of 41865 in All Scheduled Indian Airlines. Out of which 2999 (7.16%) were Pilots & Co-Pilots, 7462 (17.82%) were Other Flight Personnel, 6557 (15.66%) were Maintenance & Overhaul Personnel, 4257 (10.17%) were Ticketing & Sales Personnel and 20590 (49.18%) were Others. During 2008-09, there was a total staff strength of 34781 in All Scheduled Indian Airlines. Out of which 2432 (6.99%) were Pilots & Co-Pilots, 7916 (22.76%) were Other Flight Personnel, 6547 (18.82%) were Maintenance & Overhaul Personnel, 3839 (11.04%) were Ticketing & Sales Personnel and 14047 (40.39%) were Others. During 2007-08, there was a total staff strength of 37800 in All Scheduled Indian Airlines. Out of which 2420 (6.4%) were Pilots & Co-Pilots, 8334 (22.05%) were Other Flight Personnel, 6371 (16.85%) were Maintenance & Overhaul Personnel, 5292 (14%) were Ticketing & Sales Personnel and 15383 (40.7%) were Others.
