Top 10 States where Households provided with LED bulbs under UJALA Scheme as on 24.11.2016

Number of households provided with led bulbs under Unnat Jyoti by Affordable LEDs for All (UJALA) Scheme in India (excluding Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura and Chandigarh) was 59881104 as on 24.11.2016. The top 10 states in terms of number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme as on 24.11.2016 were: Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Jharkhand and Bihar.

Number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme in Gujarat was 9127351 as on 24.11.2016. It was 15.24% of total number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme in India as on 24.11.2016. Number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme in Maharashtra was 6670198 as on 24.11.2016. It was 11.14% of total number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme in India as on 24.11.2016. Number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme in Andhra Pradesh was 6341919 as on 24.11.2016. It was 10.59% of total number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme in India as on 24.11.2016. Number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme in Karnataka was 4507464 as on 24.11.2016. It was 7.53% of total number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme in India as on 24.11.2016. Number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme in Rajasthan was 3960070 as on 24.11.2016. It was 6.61% of total number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme in India as on 24.11.2016.

These top 5 states accounted for 51.11% of the total number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme in India (excluding Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura and Chandigarh) as a whole as on 24.11.2016.

Number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme in Uttar Pradesh was 3711546 as on 24.11.2016 (6.2% of All India). Number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme in Madhya Pradesh was 2936282 as on 24.11.2016 (4.9% of All India). Number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme in Kerala was 2583433 as on 24.11.2016 (4.31% of All India). Number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme in Jharkhand was 2510156 as on 24.11.2016 (4.19% of All India). Number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme in Bihar was 2509392 as on 24.11.2016 (4.19% of All India).

The above mentioned top 10 states accounted for 74.91% of the total number of households provided with led bulbs under UJALA scheme in India (excluding Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura and Chandigarh) as a whole as on 24.11.2016.
