State/UT-wise Production of Organic Fertilizer in Carrier based in India from 2012-13 to 2015-16

During 2015-16, Production of Organic Fertilizer was 88029.30415 in Carrier based (MT) in India. We had seen a growth of 9.09% during 2015-16 from 80696.45595 in Carrier based (MT) of previous year 2014-15.
There are 5 Zones in India; these are namely South Zone, West Zone, North Zone, East Zone and North East Zone. During 2015-16, South Zone had contributed 62.52% (55036.41 MT) of All India total. During 2015-16, West Zone had contributed 19.29% (16984.76 MT) of All India total. During 2015-16, North Zone had contributed 11.37% (10006.07 MT) of All India total. During 2015-16, East Zone had contributed 3.86% (3400.076 MT) of All India total. During 2015-16, North East Zone had contributed 6.3% (5546.59 MT) of All India total.

In South Zone we had seen a growth of 37.65% from 39982.63 MT during 2014-15 to 55036.41 MT during 2015-16. In West Zone we had seen a growth of -27.97% from 23580.414 MT during 2014-15 to 16984.76 MT during 2015-16. In North Zone we had seen a growth of -25.95% from 13512.696 MT during 2014-15 to 10006.07 MT during 2015-16. In East Zone we had seen a growth of 5.91% from 3210.27 MT during 2014-15 to 3400.076 MT during 2015-16. In North East Zone we had seen a growth of 1251.34% from 410.45 MT during 2014-15 to 5546.59 MT during 2015-16.

The top 10 states/ UTs in terms of Production of Organic Fertilizer in Carrier based (MT) during 2015-16 were: Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

Production of Organic Fertilizer in Tamil Nadu was 23721.2104 MT during 2015-16, which accounted for 26.95% of All India total. Production of Organic Fertilizer in Karnataka was 23042.91 MT during 2015-16, which accounted for 26.18% of All India total. Production of Organic Fertilizer in Maharashtra was 7825.142 MT during 2015-16, which accounted for 8.89% of All India total. Production of Organic Fertilizer in Kerala was 4926.045 MT during 2015-16, which accounted for 5.6% of All India total. Production of Organic Fertilizer in Gujarat was 3963.42 MT during 2015-16, which accounted for 4.5% of All India total. Production of Organic Fertilizer in Uttarakhand was 3549.39 MT during 2015-16, which accounted for 4.03% of All India total. Production of Organic Fertilizer in Andhra Pradesh was 3062.6 MT during 2015-16, which accounted for 3.48% of All India total. Production of Organic Fertilizer in Arunachal Pradesh was 3062.6 MT during 2015-16, which accounted for 3.48% of All India total. Production of Organic Fertilizer in Uttar Pradesh was 3053.115 MT during 2015-16, which accounted for 3.47% of All India total. Production of Organic Fertilizer in West Bengal was 2826.27 MT during 2015-16, which accounted for 3.21% of All India total.

The above mentioned top 10 States/UTs accounted for 89.78% of the total Production of Organic Fertilizer in Carrier based (MT) in India as a whole during 2015-16.
