Average Production of Rice from 2010-11 to 2014-15

The average production of rice per year in India was 103728 thousand tonnes during the period from 2010-11 to 2014-15. There were 9 states having average production of rice per year of more than 5000 thousand tonnes during the period from 2010-11 to 2014-15 viz. West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.

The average production of rice per year in West Bengal was 14544.7 thousand tonnes during the period from 2010-11 to 2014-15. It was 14.02% of the average production of rice per year in India during the period from 2010-11 to 2014-15.

The average production of rice per year in Uttar Pradesh was 13446.8 thousand tonnes during the period from 2010-11 to 2014-15. It was 12.96% of the average production of rice per year in India during the period from 2010-11 to 2014-15. The average production of rice per year in Punjab was 11025.4 thousand tonnes during the period from 2010-11 to 2014-15. It was 10.63% of the average production of rice per year in India during the period from 2010-11 to 2014-15.

The average production of rice per year in Andhra Pradesh was 7338.9 thousand tonnes during the period from 2010-11 to 2014-15. It was 7.08% of the average production of rice per year in India during the period from 2010-11 to 2014-15. The average production of rice per year in Orissa was 7168.4 thousand tonnes during the period from 2010-11 to 2014-15. It was 6.91% of the average production of rice per year in India during the period from 2010-11 to 2014-15.

The average production of rice per year in Chhattisgarh was 6366.9 thousand tonnes during the period from 2010-11 to 2014-15 (6.14% of All India). The average production of rice per year in Bihar was 5931.3 thousand tonnes during the period from 2010-11 to 2014-15 (5.72% of All India). The average production of rice per year in Tamil Nadu was 5675.7 thousand tonnes during the period from 2010-11 to 2014-15 (5.47% of All India). The average production of rice per year in Telengana was 5305.5 thousand tonnes during the period from 2010-11 to 2014-15 (5.11% of All India).
