Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) is a Government of India scheme designed to meet the financing needs of non-corporate small business units of the country. The idea is to provide financial support for small business which employ majority of the Indian working population.
The percentage of loan amount disbursed under PMMY to OBC in India was 22.39%, out of the total amount disbursed under PMMY of Rs. 132954.73 crores in India as on 31.03.2016. There were 11 States/UTs which gave more than 20% loans disbursed under PMMY to OBC viz. Bihar, Puducherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Odisha, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu as on 31.03.2016.
The percentage of loan amount disbursed under PMMY to OBC in Bihar was 48.2%, out of the total amount disbursed under PMMY of Rs. 7265.91 crores in Bihar as on 31.03.2016.
The percentage of loan amount disbursed under PMMY to OBC in Puducherry was 46.28%, out of the total amount disbursed under PMMY of Rs. 331.91 crores in Puducherry as on 31.03.2016. The percentage of loan amount disbursed under PMMY to OBC in Andaman and Nicobar Islands was 43%, out of the total amount disbursed under PMMY of Rs. 212.78 crores in Andaman and Nicobar Islands as on 31.03.2016.
The percentage of loan amount disbursed under PMMY to OBC in Odisha was 39.68%, out of the total amount disbursed under PMMY of Rs. 5436.26 crores in Odisha as on 31.03.2016. The percentage of loan amount disbursed under PMMY to OBC in Jharkhand was 33.16%, out of the total amount disbursed under PMMY of Rs. 2845.66 crores in Jharkhand as on 31.03.2016.
The percentage of loan amount disbursed under PMMY to OBC in Madhya Pradesh was 31.1%, out of the total amount disbursed under PMMY of Rs. 7769.29 crores in Madhya Pradesh as on 31.03.2016. The percentage of loan amount disbursed under PMMY to OBC in Chhattisgarh was 29.47%, out of the total amount disbursed under PMMY of Rs. 2156.14 crores in Chhattisgarh as on 31.03.2016. The percentage of loan amount disbursed under PMMY to OBC in Kerala was 29.29%, out of the total amount disbursed under PMMY of Rs. 4727.38 crores in Kerala as on 31.03.2016.
The percentage of loan amount disbursed under PMMY to OBC in Uttar Pradesh was 25.56%, out of the total amount disbursed under PMMY of Rs. 11880.93 crores in Uttar Pradesh as on 31.03.2016. The percentage of loan amount disbursed under PMMY to OBC in Andhra Pradesh was 23.5%, out of the total amount disbursed under PMMY of Rs. 5790.79 crores in Andhra Pradesh as on 31.03.2016. The percentage of loan amount disbursed under PMMY to OBC in Tamil Nadu was 23.07%, out of the total amount disbursed under PMMY of Rs. 15496.86 crores in Tamil Nadu as on 31.03.2016.
