Veterinary Hospitals/Polyclinics in Various States and UTs as on 31.03.2015

The total number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in India was 11367 as on 31.03.2015. There were 12 states having more than 200 veterinary hospitals/polyclinics viz. Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Kerala, Chhattisgarh; and Jammu and Kashmir as on 31.03.2015.

The number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in Rajasthan was 2327 as on 31.03.2015. It accounted for 20.47% of the number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in India as on 31.03.2015.

The number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in Uttar Pradesh was 2200 as on 31.03.2015. It accounted for 19.35% of the number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in India as on 31.03.2015. The number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in Punjab was 1386 as on 31.03.2015. It accounted for 12.19% of the number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in India as on 31.03.2015.

The number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in Madhya Pradesh was 1008 as on 31.03.2015. It accounted for 8.87% of the number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in India as on 31.03.2015. The number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in Haryana was 946 as on 31.03.2015. It accounted for 8.32% of the number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in India as on 31.03.2015.

The number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in Odisha was 541 as on 31.03.2015 (4.76% of All India). The number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in Himachal Pradesh was 371 as on 31.03.2015 (3.26% of All India). The number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in Karnataka was 364 as on 31.03.2015 (3.2% of All India).
The number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in Uttarakhand was 317 as on 31.03.2015 (2.79% of All India). The number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in Kerala was 276 as on 31.03.2015 (2.43% of All India). The number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in Chhattisgarh was 275 as on 31.03.2015 (2.42% of All India). The number of veterinary hospitals/polyclinics in Jammu and Kashmir was 270 as on 31.03.2015 (2.38% of All India).
