Student Classroom Ratio at Secondary Level as on April 2016

The student classroom ratio at secondary level in India was 47 as on April 2016. The top 10 States/UTs in terms of student classroom ratio at secondary level were Jammu & Kashmir, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, A & N Islands, Himachal Pradesh, Lakshadweep, Punjab, Meghalaya and Puducherry as on April 2016.

The student classroom ratio at secondary level in Jammu & Kashmir was 27 as on April 2016. The student classroom ratio at secondary level in Jammu & Kashmir was lower by 20 points as compared to student classroom ratio at secondary level at All India level.

The student classroom ratio at secondary level in Mizoram was 28 as on April 2016. The student classroom ratio at secondary level in Mizoram was lower by 19 points as compared to student classroom ratio at secondary level at All India level. The student classroom ratio at secondary level in Manipur was 29 as on April 2016. The student classroom ratio at secondary level in Manipur was lower by 18 points as compared to student classroom ratio at secondary level at All India level.

The student classroom ratio at secondary level in Nagaland was 29 as on April 2016. The student classroom ratio at secondary level in Nagaland was lower by 18 points as compared to student classroom ratio at secondary level at All India level. The student classroom ratio at secondary level in A & N Islands was 30 as on April 2016. The student classroom ratio at secondary level in A & N Islands was lower by 17 points as compared to student classroom ratio at secondary level at All India level.

The student classroom ratio at secondary level in Himachal Pradesh was 31 as on April 2016 (lower by 16 points as compared to All India). The student classroom ratio at secondary level in Lakshadweep was 32 as on April 2016 (lower by 15 points as compared to All India). The student classroom ratio at secondary level in Punjab was 32 as on April 2016 (lower by 15 points as compared to All India). The student classroom ratio at secondary level in Meghalaya was 33 as on April 2016 (lower by 14 points as compared to All India). The student classroom ratio at secondary level in Puducherry was 33 as on April 2016 (lower by 14 points as compared to All India).
