Top 10 States/UTs in Bogus and Ineligible Ration Cards Deleted during 2013 to 2015

The number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted by the State/UT Governmentsin India was 16230300 during the period from 2013 to 2015. The top 10 States/UTs in terms of the number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted were: West Bengal, Telangana, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Tripura, Assam and Puducherry during the period from 2013 to 2015.

The number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted in West Bengal was 8153141 during 2013 to 2015. It accounted for 50.23% of the number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted in India during 2013 to 2015.

The number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted in Telangana was 3652726 during 2013 to 2015. It accounted for 22.51% of the number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted in India during 2013 to 2015. The number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted in Karnataka was 1977836 during 2013 to 2015. It accounted for 12.19% of the number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted in India during 2013 to 2015.

The number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted in Chhattisgarh was 944339 during 2013 to 2015. It accounted for 5.82% of the number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted in India during 2013 to 2015. The number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted in Andhra Pradesh was 849000 during 2013 to 2015. It accounted for 5.23% of the number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted in India during 2013 to 2015.

These top 5 states accounted for 95.98% of the total number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted in India as a whole during the period from 2013 to 2015.

The number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted in Tamil Nadu was 334537 during 2013 to 2015 (2.06% of All India). The number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted in Goa was 132827 during 2013 to 2015 (0.82% of All India). The number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted in Tripura was 57267 during 2013 to 2015 (0.35% of All India). The number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted in Assam was 56687 during 2013 to 2015 (0.35% of All India). The number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted in Puducherry was 26953 during 2013 to 2015 (0.17% of All India).

The above mentioned top 10 states/UTs accounted for 99.73% of the total number of bogus and ineligible ration cards deleted in India as a whole during the period from 2013 to 2015.
