Top 20 Countries with Indian Prisoners in their Jails as of May 2016

There were 72 countries having Indian prisoners in their jails as of May 2016. The total number of Indian prisoners in all countries across the globe was 6804 as of May 2016.

There were 14 countries having more than 100 Indian prisoners viz. Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Nepal, Kuwait, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Pakistan, USA, China, Bangladesh, Qatar, Singapore, Oman and Bahrain as of May 2016.

The number of Indian prisoners in Saudi Arabia was 1696 as of May 2016. It accounted for 24.93% of the total number of Indian prisoners in various countries of the world as of May 2016.

The number of Indian prisoners in United Arab Emirates was 1143 as of May 2016. It accounted for 16.8% of the total number of Indian prisoners in various countries of the world as of May 2016. The number of Indian prisoners in Nepal was 859 as of May 2016. It accounted for 12.62% of the total number of Indian prisoners in various countries of the world as of May 2016.

The number of Indian prisoners in Kuwait was 434 as of May 2016. It accounted for 6.38% of the total number of Indian prisoners in various countries of the world as of May 2016. The number of Indian prisoners in Malaysia was 356 as of May 2016. It accounted for 5.23% of the total number of Indian prisoners in various countries of the world as of May 2016.

The range of the number of Indian prisoners in foreign jails in various countries as of May 2016 was 1695 with minimum of 1 and maximum of 1696.

The mean of the number of Indian prisoners in foreign jails in various countries as of May 2016 was 94.54. The median of the number of Indian prisoners in foreign jails in various countries as of May 2016 was 7.The mode of the number of Indian prisoners in foreign jails in various countries as of May 2016 was 1 (14 countries having 1 Indian prisoner each out of total 72 countries).
