Fund Released under Remote Village Electrification Programme from 2013-14 to 2015-16

The total amount of fund released under remote village electrification programme for settlement of old projects in India was Rs. 3604.87 lacs during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16. The states, having fund released under remote village electrification, were: Jammu & Kashmir, Assam, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Kerala, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh and Delhi during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16.

There were 4 states having more than Rs. 500 lacs fund released under remote village electrification viz. Jammu & Kashmir, Assam, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh.

The total amount of fund released under remote village electrification to Jammu & Kashmir was Rs. 1036.12 lacs during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16. It was 28.74% of the total amount of fund released under remote village electrification in India during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16. The total amount of fund released under remote village electrification to Assam was Rs. 1022.81 lacs during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16. It was 28.37% of the total amount of fund released under remote village electrification in India during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16.

The total amount of fund released under remote village electrification to Odisha was Rs. 545.78 lacs during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16. It was 15.14% of the total amount of fund released under remote village electrification in India during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16. The total amount of fund released under remote village electrification to Uttar Pradesh was Rs. 513.18 lacs during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16. It was 14.24% of the total amount of fund released under remote village electrification in India during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16.

These 4 states accounted for 86.49% of the total amount of fund released under remote village electrification in India as a whole during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16.

The total amount of fund released under remote village electrification to Manipur was Rs. 168.58 lakhs during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16 (4.68% of All India). The total amount of fund released under remote village electrification to Mizoram was Rs. 96.31 lacs during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16 (2.67% of All India). The total amount of fund released under remote village electrification to Meghalaya was Rs. 88.87 lacs during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16 (2.47% of All India). The total amount of fund released under remote village electrification to Kerala was Rs. 75.49 lacs during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16 (2.09% of All India).

The total amount of fund released under remote village electrification to Uttarakhand was Rs. 36 lacs during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16 (1% of All India). The total amount of fund released under remote village electrification to Arunachal Pradesh was Rs. 17.67 lacs during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16 (0.49% of All India). The total amount of fund released under remote village electrification to Delhi was Rs. 4.06 lacs during the period from 2013-14 to 2015-16 (0.11% of All India).
