The Savings Amount of Self Help Groups (SHGs) with banks in North Eastern Region was Rs. 13022 lakhs as on 31-03-2015. The Total number of SHGs in North Eastern Region was 333981 as on 31-03-2015. The top 3 states in terms of the Savings Amount of Self Help Groups (SHGs) with banks in the North Eastern Region were: Assam, Tripura and Meghalaya as on 31-03-2015.

The Savings Amount of Self Help Groups (SHGs) with banks in Assam was Rs. 9943 lakhs as on 31-03-2015. It accounted for 76.36% of the total Savings Amount of SHGs with banks in North Eastern Region as on 31-03-2015. The Total number of SHGs in Assam was 292071 as on 31-03-2015. The Savings Amount of Self Help Groups (SHGs) with banks in Tripura was Rs. 946 lakhs as on 31-03-2015. It accounted for 7.26% of the total Savings Amount of SHGs with banks in North Eastern Region as on 31-03-2015. The Total number of SHGs in Tripura was 8218 as on 31-03-2015. The Savings Amount of Self Help Groups (SHGs) with banks in Meghalaya was Rs. 863 lakhs as on 31-03-2015. It accounted for 6.63% of the total Savings Amount of SHGs with banks in North Eastern Region as on 31-03-2015. The Total number of SHGs in Meghalaya was 7910 as on 31-03-2015.

These top 3 states accounted for 90.25% of the Savings Amount of Self Help Groups (SHGs) with banks in North Eastern Region as a whole as on 31-03-2015.

The Savings Amount of Self Help Groups (SHGs) with banks in Mizoram was Rs. 313 lakhs as on 31-03-2015. It accounted for 2.4% of the total Savings Amount of SHGs with banks in North Eastern Region as on 31-03-2015. The Total number of SHGs in Mizoram was 7481 as on 31-03-2015. The Savings Amount of Self Help Groups (SHGs) with banks in Nagaland was Rs. 273 lakhs as on 31-03-2015. It accounted for 2.1% of the total Savings Amount of SHGs with banks in North Eastern Region as on 31-03-2015. The Total number of SHGs in Nagaland was 2880 as on 31-03-2015.

The Savings Amount of Self Help Groups (SHGs) with banks in Arunachal Pradesh was Rs. 256 lakhs as on 31-03-2015. It accounted for 1.97% of the total Savings Amount of SHGs with banks in North Eastern Region as on 31-03-2015. The Total number of SHGs in Arunachal Pradesh was 3351 as on 31-03-2015. The Savings Amount of Self Help Groups (SHGs) with banks in Sikkim was Rs. 231 lakhs as on 31-03-2015. It accounted for 1.77% of the total Savings Amount of SHGs with banks in North Eastern Region as on 31-03-2015. The Total number of SHGs in Sikkim was 1368 as on 31-03-2015. The Savings Amount of Self Help Groups (SHGs) with banks in Manipur was Rs. 197 lakhs as on 31-03-2015. It accounted for 1.51% of the total Savings Amount of SHGs with banks in North Eastern Region as on 31-03-2015. The Total number of SHGs in Manipur was 10702 as on 31-03-2015.
