The import of Urea through Hazira port was 0.33 lakh tonnes during the month of October, 2015. The import of Urea through Hazira port increased to 0.42 lakh tonnes during the month of November, 2015, recording a growth of 0.09 lakh tonnes (27.27%) as compared to the month of October, 2015. The percentage share of Hazira port in the total import of Urea in India was 9.01% during the month of November 2015.
The import of Urea through Kakinada port was 1.72 lakh tonnes during the month of October, 2015. The import of Urea through Kakinada port decreased to 0.44 lakh tonnes during the month of November, 2015, recording a decrease of -1.28 lakh tonnes (-74.42%) as compared to the month of October, 2015. The percentage share of Kakinada port in the total import of Urea in India was 9.44% during the month of November 2015.
The import of Urea through Kandla port was 1.09 lakh tonnes during the month of October, 2015. The import of Urea through Kandla port increased to 1.52 lakh tonnes during the month of November, 2015, recording a growth of 0.43 lakh tonnes (39.45%) as compared to the month of October, 2015. The percentage share of Kandla port in the total import of Urea in India was 32.62% during the month of November 2015.
The import of Urea through Krishnapatnam port was 1.27 lakh tonnes during the month of October, 2015. The import of Urea through Krishnapatnam port decreased to 0.58 lakh tonnes during the month of November, 2015, recording a decrease of -0.69 lakh tonnes (-54.33%) as compared to the month of October, 2015. The percentage share of Krishnapatnam port in the total import of Urea in India was 12.45% during the month of November 2015.
The import of Urea through Mundra port was 2.55 lakh tonnes during the month of October, 2015. The import of Urea through Mundra port decreased to 1.7 lakh tonnes during the month of November, 2015, recording a decrease of -0.85 lakh tonnes (-33.33%) as compared to the month of October, 2015. The percentage share of Mundra port in the total import of Urea in India was 36.48% during the month of November 2015.
Thus, Mundra port had the largest percentage share in the total import of Urea in India during the month of November 2015 amongst various ports in India. Mundra port had the largest percentage share in the total import of Urea in India during the month of October 2015 also.
