The average yield of wool per season from lamb in all the states having lamb wool production put together was 0.9 Kg. in 2013-14. The top 10 states in terms of the average yield of wool per season from lamb were: Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Maharashtra, West Bengal and Jharkhand in 2013-14.
The average yield of wool per season from lamb in Haryana was 1.77 Kg. in 2013-14. It was 196.67% of the average yield of wool per season from lamb in India in 2013-14. The average yield of wool per season from lamb in Himachal Pradesh was 1.01 Kg. in 2013-14. It was 112.22% of the average yield of wool per season from lamb in India in 2013-14. The average yield of wool per season from lamb in Madhya Pradesh was 0.88 Kg. in 2013-14. It was 97.78% of the average yield of wool per season from lamb in India in 2013-14.
