Traffic handled at Non-Major Ports in Karnataka from 2000-01 to 2013-14

The total traffic handled at non-major ports in Karnataka in 2000-01 was 676 thousand tonnes and it decreased to 509 thousand tonnes in 2013-14, recording a decrease of -24.7% during the period of 2000-01 to 2013-14.

The traffic handled at non-major ports in Karnataka in the Overseas Unloaded category in 2000-01 was 185 thousand tonnes. The traffic handled in Overseas Loaded category in 2000-01 was 287 thousand tonnes. The traffic handled in Coastal Unloaded category in 2000-01 was 110 thousand tonnes. The traffic handled in Coastal Loaded category in 2000-01 was 94 thousand tonnes.

The traffic handled at non-major ports in Karnataka in the Overseas Unloaded category in 2001-02 was 172 thousand tonnes. It recorded -7.03% decrease over the previous year. The traffic handled in Overseas Loaded category in 2001-02 was 301 thousand tonnes. It recorded 4.88% growth over the previous year. The traffic handled in Coastal Unloaded category in 2001-02 was 123 thousand tonnes. It recorded 11.82% growth over the previous year. The traffic handled in Coastal Loaded category in 2001-02 was 150 thousand tonnes. It recorded 59.57% growth over the previous year.

The traffic handled at non-major ports in Karnataka in the Overseas Unloaded category in 2013-14 was 287 thousand tonnes. It recorded 32.87% growth over the previous year. The total growth recorded during 2000-01 to 2013-14 was 55.14%. The traffic handled in Overseas Loaded category in 2013-14 was 117 thousand tonnes. It recorded -48% decrease over the previous year. The total decrease recorded during 2000-01 to 2013-14 was -59.23%. The traffic handled in Coastal Unloaded category in 2013-14 was 103 thousand tonnes. It recorded 28.75% growth over the previous year. The total decrease recorded during 2000-01 to 2013-14 was -6.36%. The traffic handled in Coastal Loaded category in 2013-14 was 2 thousand tonnes. It recorded -97.75% decrease over the previous year. The total decrease recorded during 2000-01 to 2013-14 was -97.87%.
