Expenditure on Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) upto March 2015

The total expenditure on Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) in India was Rs. 129517.9 crores upto March 2015. The top 10 states in terms of the total expenditure on PMGSY were: Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Assam, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh upto March 2015.

The total expenditure on PMGSY in Bihar was Rs. 16081.43 crores upto March 2015. It accounted for 12.42% of the total expenditure on PMGSY in India upto March 2015. The total expenditure on PMGSY in Madhya Pradesh was Rs. 14816.62 crores upto March 2015. It accounted for 11.44% of the total expenditure on PMGSY in India upto March 2015. The total expenditure on PMGSY in Odisha was Rs. 12992.75 crores upto March 2015. It accounted for 10.03% of the total expenditure on PMGSY in India upto March 2015. The total expenditure on PMGSY in Uttar Pradesh was Rs. 11356.62 crores upto March 2015. It accounted for 8.77% of the total expenditure on PMGSY in India upto March 2015. The total expenditure on PMGSY in Rajasthan was Rs. 9845.14 crores upto March 2015. It accounted for 7.6% of the total expenditure on PMGSY in India upto March 2015. These top 5 states accounted for 50.26% of the total expenditure on PMGSY in India as a whole upto March 2015.

The total expenditure on PMGSY in Assam was Rs. 8445.98 crores upto March 2015 (6.52% of All India). The total expenditure on PMGSY in West Bengal was Rs. 6845.32 crores upto March 2015 (5.29% of All India). The total expenditure on PMGSY in Chhattisgarh was Rs. 6751.73 crores upto March 2015 (5.21% of All India). The total expenditure on PMGSY in Maharashtra was Rs. 5902.4 crores upto March 2015 (4.56% of All India). The total expenditure on PMGSY in Andhra Pradesh was Rs. 4344.45 crores upto March 2015 (3.35% of All India).

The above mentioned top 10 states accounted for 75.19% of the total expenditure on PMGSY in India as a whole upto March 2015.
