Value of Marine Products Export to Various Markets in 2012-13 and 2013-14

The total export of marine products from India to the world markets was Rs. 18856.26 crores in the year 2012-13. It increased to Rs. 30213.27 crores in the year 2013-14, recording a growth of Rs. 11357.01 crores (60.23%) as compared to 2012-13.

The total export of marine products to Japan was Rs. 1999.59 crores in the year 2012-13. It increased to Rs. 2463.83 crores in the year 2013-14, recording a growth of Rs. 464.24 crores (23.22%) as compared to 2012-13.

The total export of marine products to U. S. A was Rs. 4026.48 crores in the year 2012-13. It increased to Rs. 7744.67 crores in the year 2013-14, recording a growth of Rs. 3718.19 crores (92.34%) as compared to 2012-13.

The total export of marine products to European Union was Rs. 4176.42 crores in the year 2012-13. It increased to Rs. 6129.69 crores in the year 2013-14, recording a growth of Rs. 1953.27 crores (46.77%) as compared to 2012-13.

The total export of marine products to South East Asia including China was Rs. 5802.14 crores in the year 2012-13. It increased to Rs. 9813.31 crores in the year 2013-14, recording a growth of Rs. 4011.17 crores (69.13%) as compared to 2012-13.

The total export of marine products to Middle East was Rs. 1113.34 crores in the year 2012-13. It increased to Rs. 1599.37 crores in the year 2013-14, recording a growth of Rs. 486.03 crores (43.66%) as compared to 2012-13.

The total export of marine products to Other Markets was Rs. 1738.29 crores in the year 2012-13. It increased to Rs. 2462.4 crores in the year 2013-14, recording a growth of Rs. 724.11 crores (41.66%) as compared to 2012-13.
