Manipur with 1.22% has the highest adult HIV prevalence rate followed by Andhra Pradesh with 0.75%. Assam has the lowest adult HIV prevalence rate of 0.07%. Eleven States/UTs namely, Manipur, Andhra Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, Odisha, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Chandigarh are lying above national estimate.
