States/UTs-wise Per Capita Sales of Petroleum Products, 2003-04 and 2011-12

Increasing trend in “Per Capita Sales of Petroleum Products” (112.9 in 2003-04 and 116.3 in 2011-12) seen in India. Goa, Puducherry and Dadra & Nagar Haveli have the higher Per Capita Sales of Petroleum Products in both 2003-2004 and 2011-12 in comparison to other states.

Dadra & Nagar Haveli has the highest Per Capita Sales of Petroleum Products 820.0 in 2003-04 and 833.8 in 2011-12. Fourteen States viz. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal are below the National estimate (116.3) in 2011-12.
