State-wise Share Capital and Reserves of Central Co-operative Banks in 2013-14

The total share capital of all the central co-operative banks in Maharashtra was Rs. 23981 million. Their total reserves were worth Rs. 33225 million (138.55% of share capital). The total share capital of all the central co-operative banks in Tamil Nadu was Rs. 14587 million. Their total reserves were worth Rs. 20464 million (140.29% of share capital). The total share capital of all the central co-operative banks in Andhra Pradesh was Rs. 12449 million. Their total reserves were worth Rs. 6717 million (53.96% of share capital). The total share capital of all the central co-operative banks in Madhya Pradesh was Rs. 10141 million. Their total reserves were worth Rs. 9137 million (90.1% of share capital). Thus, the share capital of all the central co-operative banks collectively in each of the states among Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh was more than Rs. 10000 million.

The total share capital of all the central co-operative banks in Orissa was Rs. 8399 million. Their total reserves were worth Rs. 2175 million (25.9% of share capital). The total share capital of all the central co-operative banks in Uttar Pradesh was Rs. 6643 million. Their total reserves were worth Rs. 12216 million (183.89% of share capital). The total share capital of all the central co-operative banks in Karnataka was Rs. 6278 million. Their total reserves were worth Rs. 7564 million (120.48% of share capital). The total share capital of all the central co-operative banks in Kerala was Rs. 6191 million. Their total reserves were worth Rs. 10013 million (161.73% of share capital).

The total share capital of all the central co-operative banks in Gujarat was Rs. 5594 million. Their total reserves were worth Rs. 11231 million (200.77% of share capital). It was the highest reserve to share capital ratio among all the states having more than Rs. 5000 million share capital of all the central co-operative banks in the state collectively. The total share capital of all the central co-operative banks in Rajasthan was Rs. 5114 million. Their total reserves were worth Rs. 6912 million (135.16% of share capital). Thus, the share capital of all the central co-operative banks collectively in each of the states among Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Gujarat and Rajasthan was more than Rs. 5000 million.
