Increasing trend has been observed in Per Capita Availability of Eggs.It grew by 3% CAGR during 2007-2012. In 2011-12 Andhra Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Tamil Nadu, Haryana,Punjab, Karnataka and Orissa are lying above the National Estimate(55). In 2011-12 Andhra Pradesh has the highest Per Capita Availability of Eggs (251) and Bihar has the lowest Per Capita Availability of Eggs(7).
