Percentage of OBC Enrolment at Elementary Level

Increasing trend has been seen in India in Percentage of OBC Enrolment at Elementary Level 42.94% in 2011-12 and 43.15% in 2012-13. Puducherry has highest Percentage of OBC Enrolment at Elementary Level 70.87% in 2011-12 and 69.94% in 2012-13 in comparison to other states. Nagaland has lowest Percentage of OBC Enrolment at Elementary Level 0.40% in 2011-12 and 0.15% in 2012-13 in comparison to other states.

Twenty four States/UTs viz. A & N Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Delhi, Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Punjab, Sikkim, Tripura, Uttarakhand and West Bengal are below the National estimate 43.15% in 2012-13.
