Diphtheria-Tetanus (DT5)/Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis (DPT5) Immunisation Achievement in India during 2008 to 2013

India has witnessed a fluctuating trend in DT5/DPT5 Immunisation Achievement during 2008-2011.
In 2008-09, percentage of DT5/DPT5 Immunisation Achievement was 58.2% across the country, which decreased to 44% in 2012-13. Mizoram and Dadra & Nagar Haveli achieved more than 100% vaccination in 2012-13.

The lowest percentage of DT5/DPT5 Immunisation Achievement was observed in Bihar (6.3%) in 2012-13 and 2.2% in Lakshadweep in 2008-09 as compared to other states.

Fourteen States viz. Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Manipur, Nagaland, Uttarakhand, Andaman & icobar Islands, Lakshadweep are below the National average (44%) in 2012-13.
