Production of Synthetic Rubber products in India during 2007-14

India has witnessed a fluctuating trend in production of Synthetic Rubber products during 2007-08 to 2013-14. During this period, production of Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) decreased by 14.0% CAGR from 17.4 Thousand Metric Tonne in 2007-08 to 7.03 Thousand Metric Tonne in 2013-14. During this period, production of Poly Butadiene Rubber (PBR) grew by 1.4% CAGR from 74.4 Thousand Metric Tonne in 2007-08 to 80.87 Thousand Metric Tonne in 2013-14.

During this period, production of Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) decreased by 41.7% CAGR from 13.24 Thousand Metric Tonne in 2007-08 to 0.52 Thousand Metric Tonne in 2013-14.

Note: Data to be released on half yearly basis. Annual data for the previous years and for the period from April to September for the current year will be released in the first week of January and annual data up to the last financial year will be released in the first/Second week of July. Revision in the data base, if required, will be done in the first week of April and October.
