Sector wise Employment in Madhya Pradesh from 2009 to 2013

The employment in Government Departments (Regular) decreased from 466991 in 2009 to 440089 in 2013 showing a decrease of -26902 (-5.76%). The Annual growth rate of the employment of Government Departments (Regular) was -1.44% during the period.

The employment in State Public Sector Undertakings and semi Government Organisations decreased from 72392 in 2009 to 54356 in 2013 showing a decrease of -18036 (-24.91%). The Annual growth rate of the employment of State Public Sector Undertakings and semi Government Organisations was -6.23% during the period.

The employment in Urban Local Bodies increased from 70352 in 2009 to 74474 in 2013 showing an increase of 4122 (5.86%). The Annual growth rate of the employment of Urban Local Bodies was 1.47% during the period. The employment in Rural Local Bodies increased from 129971 in 2009 to 157320 in 2013 showing an increase of 27349 (21.04%). The Annual growth rate of the employment of Rural Local Bodies was 5.26% during the period.

The employment in Development Authorities Town Improvement Trusts and Special Areas decreased from 1856 in 2009 to 1762 in 2013 showing a decrease of -94 (-5.06%). The Annual growth rate of the employment of Development Authorities Town Improvement Trusts and Special Areas was -1.27% during the period.

The employment in Universities decreased from 7715 in 2009 to 6902 in 2013 showing a decrease of -813 (-10.54%). The Annual growth rate of the employment of Universities was -2.64% during the period.
