Crude Oil Production in Various States from 2010-11 to 2013-14

The total crude oil production of India in the onshore area was 16429 thousand tonnes in the year 2010-11. It increased to 19585 thousand tonnes in the year 2013-14, recording a growth of 3156 thousand tonnes (19.21%) as compared to 2010-11.

The state wise crude oil production in the onshore area is as described below: The total crude oil production of Gujarat was 5905 thousand tonnes in the year 2010-11. It decreased to 5061 thousand tonnes in the year 2013-14, recording a decrease of -844 thousand tonnes (-14.29%) as compared to 2010-11. The total crude oil production of Assam was 4721 thousand tonnes in the year 2010-11. It decreased to 4710 thousand tonnes in the year 2013-14, recording a decrease of -11 thousand tonnes (-0.23%) as compared to 2010-11. The total crude oil production of Arunachal Pradesh was 116 thousand tonnes in the year 2010-11. It decreased to 111 thousand tonnes in the year 2013-14, recording a decrease of -5 thousand tonnes (-4.31%) as compared to 2010-11.

The total crude oil production of Tamil Nadu was 233 thousand tonnes in the year 2010-11. It decreased to 226 thousand tonnes in the year 2013-14, recording a decrease of -7 thousand tonnes (-3%) as compared to 2010-11. The total crude oil production of Andhra Pradesh was 305 thousand tonnes in the year 2010-11. It decreased to 297 thousand tonnes in the year 2013-14, recording a decrease of -8 thousand tonnes (-2.62%) as compared to 2010-11. The total crude oil production of Rajasthan was 5149 thousand tonnes in the year 2010-11. It increased to 9180 thousand tonnes in the year 2013-14, recording a growth of 4031 thousand tonnes (78.29%) as compared to 2010-11. Thus, crude oil production of Rajasthan has increased significantly during the years 2010-11 to 2013-14; and made a large contribution in the growth of the total crude oil production of India in the onshore area.
