Work (Assets) completed-Rural Connectivity under MGNREGA from 2010-11 to 2012-13

The top 5 States in terms of Work (Assets) completed-Rural Connectivity under MGNREGA in 2012-13 were: Uttar Pradesh with 109963 works (showing a decline of -39822 or -26.59% during 2010-11 to 2012-13 i.e. -13.3% pa); West Bengal with 47956 works (showing a growth of 8952 or 22.95% total growth during 2010-11 to 2012-13 i.e. 11.48% pa); Rajasthan with 28036 works (showing a growth of 17921 or 177.17% total growth during 2010-11 to 2012-13 i.e. 88.59% pa); Madhya Pradesh with 27263 works (showing a decline of -1876 or -6.44% during 2010-11 to 2012-13 i.e. -3.22% pa) and Bihar with 24177 works (showing a growth of 13255 or 121.36% total growth during 2010-11 to 2012-13 i.e. 60.68% pa).

The 5 States/UTs with lowest number of Work (Assets) completed-Rural Connectivity under MGNREGA in 2012-13 were: Meghalaya with 1323 works (showing a decline of -2094 i.e. -61.28% during 2010-11 to 2012-13); Manipur with 638 works (showing a decline of -1622 i.e. -71.77% during 2010-11 to 2012-13); Sikkim with 194 works (showing a decline of -66 i.e. -25.38% during 2010-11 to 2012-13); Andaman and Nicobar Islands with 70 works (showing a growth of 15 i.e. 27.27% total growth during 2010-11 to 2012-13) and Arunachal Pradesh with 1 works (showing a decline of -192 i.e. -99.48% during 2010-11 to 2012-13).

Note: Original Data Source: Ministry of Rural Development and published in Statistical Year Book-2015 by MoSPI. Outcomes in case of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman Diu have not been reported.
