Year-wise Details of Domestic Gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) Collection from 2020-21 to 2024-25

The chart presents the year-wise data on Domestic Gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections in India from the financial year 2020-21 to 2024-25 (up to December 2024). Over this period, the total domestic GST collection amounts to Rs. 60,49,024 crore. The highest GST collection was recorded in the financial year 2023-24, with a total of Rs. 15,23,248 crore. In contrast, the lowest collection was observed in 2020-21, amounting to Rs. 8,65,841 crore. The data indicates a consistent year-on-year growth in GST revenue, highlighting a strengthening domestic economic activity and improved tax compliance over the years.
