This chart shows the State/UT-wise Total Number of Gram Panchayats (GPs) Connected by Optical Fiber Cable (OFC)/Satellite link under the BharatNet Project during 2024-25. Top 5 States where the number of Gram Panchayats (GPs) connected by Optical Fiber Cable (OFC)/Satellite link under the BharatNet Project was in Uttar Pradesh (46,729), Maharashtra (24,575), Madhya Pradesh (17,850), Gujarat (14,316) and Andhra Pradesh (12,955). Bottom 5 State/UTs where the number of Gram Panchayats (GPs) connected by Optical Fiber Cable (OFC)/Satellite link under the BharatNet Project was in Lakshadweep (9), Chandigarh (12), Daman and Diu (18), Dadra and Nagar Haveli (20) and Sikkim (35).

Goa had its own similar broadband network and thus not taken up under Phase-I and Phase-II of BharatNet Project.
