Company-wise Subsidy Released under Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in Fertilizers System during 2022-23

The bar graph represents the top 10 companies in terms of the subsidy released under Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in the Fertilizers System during 2022-23 (as on 15-03-2023). Under the DBT in fertilizers system, 100% subsidy on various fertilizer grades is released to the fertilizer companies on actual sales to the beneficiaries through POS devices installed at each retail shop. Thus, the main objective is to provide financial assistance to farmers during the purchase of fertilizers. The data reveals that the highest amount of subsidy is being provided to Indian Farmers Fertilizers Cooperative Limited (Rs. 39153.78 Crore), followed by National Fertilizers Limited (Rs. 21090.61 Crore) and Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (Rs. 20857.68 Crore).
