State/UT-wise Details of Amount Released under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) from December 2022 to March 2023

The bar graph depicts state/UT-wise details of the amount released to the beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) from December 2022 to March 2023, as of 13th March 2023. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi is an initiative by the government of India, to provide financial support to small and marginal farmers across the country. The leading states in terms of the amount released under PM-KISAN scheme are Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Among these states, Uttar Pradesh represents the highest amount, valued at Rs. 3,597.415 Crore, followed by Maharashtra with Rs. 1,656.735 Crore and Bihar in the third position with Rs. 1,479.733 Crore. The amount released to beneficiaries in Lakshadweep, a union territory, is the lowest, which is Rs. 15,42,000.
