The total 1,01,043 seat are in MBBS colleges under Government & Private (including AIIMS & Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER)) in the Country. The top 10 State/UT in terms of total seats in MBBS College were Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Bengal, and Kerala.
