Total of 325.95 lakh men were provided employment under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (Mahatma Gandhi NREGS) during 2021-22 (as on 03.08.2021). The top 10 States in terms of employment provided to men under Mahatma Gandhi NREGS were Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Bihar.
