State/UT-wise Persons Provided Employment under Mahatma Gandhi NREGS during 2021-22

A total of 690.23 lakh persons were provided employment under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (Mahatma Gandhi NREGS) during 2021-22 (as on 03.08.2021). The top 10 States in terms of employment provided under Mahatma Gandhi NREGS were Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha.
