The total fund of Rs. 11,882.21 crore was allocated to the States/UTs for health system strengthening under National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) during 2020-21. The highest fund of Rs. 1,854.58 crore was allocated to the Uttar Pradesh. The lowest fund of Rs. 2.78 crore was allocated to the Lakshadweep.
The top 10 States in terms of fund allocation for health system strengthening under National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) were Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Odisha, Karnataka, and Gujarat.
