State-wise quantity of paddy procured during 2019-20

A quantity of 773.45 LMT paddy has been procured during KMS 2019-20 as compared to 660.11 LMT procured in the corresponding period during KMS 2018-19, which shows an increase of 14.65%.

The top 10 states in terms of paddy procurement during 2019-20 were Punjab, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Madhya Pradesh.
