State/UT-wise Child Immunisation – Rotavirus 1 in India during 2019-20

The top 5 States/UTs with respect to child immunisation – Rotavirus 1 in India during 2019-20 were Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

The number of child immunisation – Rotavirus 1 was 5,048,976 in Uttar Pradesh during 2019-20, out of which 635,518 (12.59%) child immunisation – Rotavirus 1 were in urban areas and 4,413,458 (87.41%) child immunisation – Rotavirus 1 were in rural areas of Uttar Pradesh. There were 2,027,021 child immunisation – Rotavirus 1 in Bihar during 2019-20. Out of these 2,027,021 child immunisation – Rotavirus 1; 239,952 (11.84%) child immunisation – Rotavirus 1 were in urban areas and 1,787,069 (88.16%) child immunisation – Rotavirus 1 were in rural areas of Bihar during 2019-20. The number of child immunisation – Rotavirus 1 was 1,605,185 in Madhya Pradesh during 2019-20, out of which 225,298 (14.04%) and 1,379,887 (85.96%) child immunisation – Rotavirus 1were in urban and rural areas respectively of Madhya Pradesh.

During 2019-20, there were 1,306,160 and 1,188,481 child immunisation – Rotavirus 1 in Rajasthan and Maharashtra respectively. Out of these 1,306,160 child immunisation – Rotavirus 1 in Rajasthan, 195,461 (14.96%) and 1,110,699 (85.04%) child immunisation – Rotavirus 1 were in urban and rural areas respectively; and out of these 1,188,481 child immunisation – Rotavirus 1 in Maharashtra, 396,806 (33.39%) child immunisation – Rotavirus 1 were in urban areas and 791,675 (66.61%) child immunisation – Rotavirus 1 were in rural areas during 2019-20.
