As on 30th January 2020, the total number of hospital admissions under Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) was 7,986,811 in India. The top 10 States/UTs with respect to number of authorised hospitalisations under AB-PMJAY as on 30-01-2020 were Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.
The number of hospital admissions in Gujarat was 1,258,303 under AB-PMJAY as on 30th Jan 2020, which accounted 15.75% of the total hospitalizations under AB-PMJAY in India. There were 991,571 hospitalizations in Tamil Nadu under AB-PMJAY as on 30.01.2020. It accounted 12.42% of the total hospitalizations under AB-PMJAY in India as on the same period. The number of hospital admissions under AB-PMJAY was 811,463 in Kerala as on 30-01-2020, which accounted 10.16% of the total hospitalizations under AB-PMJAY in India.
There were 790,096 and 704,401 hospitalizations in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan respectively under AB-PMJAY as on 30th Jan 2020. Chhattisgarh accounted for 9.89% and Rajasthan accounted for 8.82% of the total hospitalizations under AB-PMJAY in India as on 30.01.2020.
The number of hospitalizations in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra was 607,275, 515,645, 448,040, 301,416 and 288,676 respectively under AB-PMJAY as on 30th Jan 2020.
The aforementioned top 10 states accounted for 84.1% of the total hospital admissions under AB-PMJAY in India as a whole as on 30-01-2020.
