State/UT-wise Child Immunisation – Hepatitis-B0 (Birth Dose) in India during 2019-20

The top 5 States/UTs with respect to child immunisation – hepatitis-B0 (birth dose) in India during 2019-20 were Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and West Bengal.

The number of child immunisation – hepatitis-B0 (birth dose) was 2,094,627 in Uttar Pradesh during 2019-20, out of which 54,680 (2.61%) child immunisation – hepatitis-B0 (birth dose) were in urban areas and 2,039,947 (97.39%) child immunisation – hepatitis-B0 (birth dose) were in rural areas of Uttar Pradesh. There were 1,586,368 child immunisation – hepatitis-B0 (birth dose) in Bihar during 2019-20. Out of these 1,586,368 child immunisation – hepatitis-B0 (birth dose); 133,122 (8.39%) child immunisation – hepatitis-B0 (birth dose) were in urban areas and 1,453,246 (91.61%) child immunisation – hepatitis-B0 (birth dose) were in rural areas of Bihar during 2019-20. The number of child immunisation – hepatitis-B0 (birth dose) was 1,183,791 in Madhya Pradesh during 2019-20, out of which 223,680 (18.9%) and 960,111 (81.1%) child immunisation – hepatitis-B0 (birth dose)were in urban and rural areas respectively of Madhya Pradesh.

During 2019-20, there were 1,111,457 and 1,003,126 child immunisation – hepatitis-B0 (birth dose) in Maharashtra and West Bengal respectively. Out of these 1,111,457 child immunisation – hepatitis-B0 (birth dose) in Maharashtra, 271,717 (24.45%) and 839,740 (75.55%) child immunisation – hepatitis-B0 (birth dose) were in urban and rural areas respectively; and out of these 1,003,126 child immunisation – hepatitis-B0 (birth dose) in West Bengal, 285,363 (28.45%) child immunisation – hepatitis-B0 (birth dose) were in urban areas and 717,763 (71.55%) child immunisation – hepatitis-B0 (birth dose) were in rural areas during 2019-20.
