Top 10 States/Circles with respect to Working of Public Wi-Fi Hotspots of BSNL As on 31st May 2019

As on 31st May 2019, total 23,128 public Wi-Fi hotspots of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) were working in India. The top 10 States/Circles with respect to working of public Wi-Fi hotspots of BSNL as on 31.05.2019 were Maharashtra (including Goa), Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Punjab and Kerala.

The number of public Wi-Fi hotspots of BSNL working in Maharashtra (including Goa) was 3,472 as on 31st May 2019, which accounted 15.01% of the total public Wi-Fi hotspots of BSNL working in India. There were 2,027 public Wi-Fi hotspots of BSNL working in Karnataka as on 31/05/2019. It accounted 8.76% of the total public Wi-Fi hotspots of BSNL working in India as on the same period. The number of public Wi-Fi hotspots of BSNL working in Uttar Pradesh was 1,890 as on 31.05.2019, which accounted 8.17% of the total public Wi-Fi hotspots of BSNL working in India.

There were 1,664 and 1,535 public Wi-Fi hotspots of BSNL working in Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat respectively as on 31/05/2019. Madhya Pradesh accounted for 7.19% and Gujarat accounted for 6.64% of the total public Wi-Fi hotspots of BSNL working in India as on 31.05.2019.

As on 31st May 2019, the number of public Wi-Fi hotspots of BSNL working in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Punjab and Kerala was 1,492, 1,278, 1,257, 1,187 and 1,062 respectively.
