Complaints Registered & Disposed under Convergence Companies by National Consumer Helpline as per INGRAM from 2016-17 to 2018-19

The complaints received by National Consumer Helpline (NCH) are forwarded to the companies and organisations concerned for redressal. For efficient and expeditious redressal of the consumer complaints, NCH has partnered with 540 companies under its convergence programme.

The number of complaints registered under convergence companies by NCH as per Integrated Grievance Redress Mechanism (INGRAM) was 88,302 in 2016-17. Out of which, 88,302 (100%) complaints were redressed/ disposed under convergence companies as per INGRAM during 2016-17. We have observed annual spike of 144.42% in complaints registered under convergence companies by NCH as per INGRAM during 2017-18 above 2016-17. The number of complaints registered under convergence companies by NCH as per INGRAM was 241,426 during 2018-19, up by 11.86% against 215,830 during 2016-17. Out of 241,426 complaints registered in 2018-19, 239,073 (99%) complaints were redressed/ disposed under convergence companies as per INGRAM.
