Production of Copper Ore in India during 2015-16 to 2017-18

Copper Ore production in India was 3,678,846 tonne during 2017-18, down by -4.36% against 3,846,427 tonne during 2016-17. Whereas it was 3,907,823 tonne in India during 2015-16. States namely Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan had produced Copper Ore in India during 2015-16 to 2017-18.

Production of Copper Ore was 267,251 tonne in Jharkhand in 2015-16. It has jumped by 17.44% to 313,856 tonne during 2016-17 above 2015-16. We have observed annual decline of -43.06% in production of Copper Ore in Jharkhand to 178,700 tonne during 2017-18 over 2016-17.

Copper Ore production in Madhya Pradesh was 2,536,580, 2,415,330 and 2,339,035 tonne from 2015-16 to 2017-18 respectively. Annual de-growth of -4.78% and -3.16% has been seen during 2016-17 and 2017-18 respectively in production of Copper Ore in Madhya Pradesh.

During 2017-18, Production of Copper Ore was 1,161,111 tonne in Rajasthan. We have observed annual increase of 3.93% in production of Copper Ore in Rajasthan during 2017-18 from 1,117,241 tonne during 2016-17. Whereas it was 1,103,992 tonne in Rajasthan during 2015-16.
