District-wise Cases reported due to Seasonal Influenza (H1N1/Swine Flu) in Andhra Pradesh during 2018

Andhra Pradesh had reported 402 cases due to Seasonal Influenza (H1N1/Swine Flu) in 2018. With mortality rate of 4.23%, death toll reached to 17 persons due to H1N1/Swine Flu during 2018. The top 5 districts of Andhra Pradesh with respect to cases reported due to Seasonal Influenza (H1N1/Swine Flu) during 2018 were Chittoor, Visakhapatnam, Kurnool, Guntur and Nellore.

The number of cases reported due to H1N1/Swine Flu in Chittoor district was 89 during 2018, which accounted 22.14% of the total cases reported due to H1N1/Swine Flu in Andhra Pradesh. There were 80 cases in Visakhapatnam district due to H1N1/Swine Flu during 2018. It accounted 19.9% of the total cases reported due to H1N1/Swine Flu in Andhra Pradesh during the same period. The number of cases reported due to H1N1/Swine Flu in Kurnool district was 66 during 2018, which accounted 16.42% of the total cases reported due to H1N1/Swine Flu in Andhra Pradesh. Chittoor, Visakhapatnam and Kurnool district reported death of 3 (3.37%), 2 (2.5%) and 6 (9.09%) persons respectively due to H1N1/Swine Flu during 2018.

During 2018, there were 52 and 19 cases due to H1N1/Swine Flu in Guntur and Nellore district respectively. Guntur accounted for 12.94% and Nellore accounted for 4.73% of the total cases reported due to H1N1/Swine Flu in Andhra Pradesh during 2018.
