Import v/s Export of Petrol by India from 2011-12 to 2017-18

Petrol imported by India was US$ 716 million in 2011-12. It has tanked by -77.65% to US$ 160 million during 2012-13 above 2011-12. Annual decline of -63.12% has been seen in import of petrol by India during 2016-17 from US$ 648 million during 2015-16. Import of petrol by India was US$ 91 million during 2017-18, down by -61.92% against US$ 239 million during 2016-17.

We have observed annual growth of 13.24% in export of petrol by India from US$ 15,478 million during 2011-12 to US$ 17,528 million during 2012-13. Petrol exported by India was US$ 9,120 million in 2015-16. It has tanked by -13.43% during 2016-17 above 2015-16. Export of petrol by India was US$ 8,463 million during 2017-18, up by 7.19% verses US$ 7,895 million during 2016-17.

The maximum annual growth of 72.8% has been found in 2015-16 in import of petrol by India during the period under consideration. The maximum annual growth of 13.24% has been seen in 2012-13 in export of petrol by India during the period under consideration.
