Funds Disbursed under Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission from 2015-16 to 2018-19

The Government of India has taken various initiatives to support the use and promotion of renewable energy in the country. Disbursement of funds under Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission was Rs. 3146.24 crore in 2015-16, which is 99.98% of total allocated amount of Rs. 3147 crore. It has decreased by -17.66% during 2016-17 above 2015-16.

We have observed annual de-growth of -27.05% in disbursement of funds under Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission to Rs. 1889.93 crore during 2017-18 against Rs. 2590.59 crore during 2016-17. In absolute term the decline was Rs. -700.66 crore during 2017-18 above 2016-17. Allocation of fund under Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission was Rs. 2102.1 crore during 2017-18. Amount of funds disbursed under Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission was Rs. 1335.75 crore during 2018-19 (as on 12.12.2018).
